Augusta Christian Schools Reviews

We love the school and the staff, I feel at complete ease when my daughter is there, and I know that she is getting a good solid foundation.

We have been at the school for 10 years. The christian foundation that our children have received from the Godly teachers and staff at this school is the most important part of their education. Without a christian worldview children do not get a true view of their world. I feel it is important to begin kindergarten with a christian education - - With a excellent atletic dept and fine arts department - We wouldn't have our child anywhere else.

Augusta Christian Schools has been like a second home to my family for the past 19 years. All four of my children graduated from Augusta Christian. They not only received a wonderful education but successfully continued their higher education. The teachers and staff were extremely loving and caring and still always ask me about my children. Augusta Christian was the third leg of the stool - family, church and school and they taught our children the things that we taught them at home. Not only did our children receive a great education, but they participated in award winning fine arts, sports, drama and other wonderful activities. I would not trade anything for the years we spent at ACS. It really is true that if 'you train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it.'

The worst private Christian school experience we ever had.

Augusta Christian Schools is such an important part of our family. We have grown so much spritually because of our involvement in ACS. This is our twelfth year at ACS and we have enjoyed every minute of it. My only regret is that we did not start our oldest children here in Kindergarten. ACS partners with the church and family to provide an academically and spiritually challenging learning environment. We are totally committed to ACS now and in the future.

Our family loves ACS! We are starting our 9th year and while it is not a perfect school, it is the best alternative to public school for us. Our daughters are active in sports and receive not only tremendous support from their coaches but their teachers as well. I have seen firsthand many relationships built between my daughters and their peers and the teachers, coaches and staff that has been very satisfying. I love the fact that ACS is a 'small' school, small enough that my daughters do not 'fall through the cracks' as I fear they would if they were in public school. My 10th grader and 7th grader do not want to go anywhere else. It has been a tremendous financial investment, but one our family feels is very worth it!

We were very unsatisfied with the school's administration and staff. They shave the truth. The administration is very politically minded (favors) toward families who make large donations to the school. There is no true financial oversight of fund raising efforts. They misrepresent financial matters and it seems they are accountable to no one. The organization is full of cliques and cronyism. The staff gossips and tattles on one another. Good teachers who don't fit in have their character assassinated by gossip. Beware... if you question anything that's going on, you'll be ostracized. If you turn a blind eye to their shenanigans, they'll welcome you with open arms! They'll even help your kids get 'A's'.

My husband is a graduate of the school and currently a teacher and coach here. I feel it is a great school, and we have a 2 year old that will start school at Augusta Christian as soon as she turns turns 4 years old.

I have lived in the River Chase community for ten years. During this time my son Adam, has gone to daycare at Warren Baptist Church, pre-school and grade school at Augusta Christian. I am happy to report my appreciation is high of all the care and schooling that he has received. His grades are good and his interest in learning is normal. The Teachers and Staff of Augusta Christian are down to earth, honest, mature, and caring. I do not intend to have my son in any other school in this area if possible. Augusta Christian is a private school, but I can not think of a more important expense for our family. John T. Reeves, Sr.

My children have attended ACS for 3 years my son is starting into his 4th. My wife and I feel very strongly that it is the best investment we have made in our 22 years of marrage. My children were both behind when we started them in ACS but now they have caught up with the rest of the school. We found that the school was about a year ahead of the public schools. Also the spiritual guidance is something our children don't get in public school. I think it is extremly important for our children to be influenced in a positive way. I don't want nonchristian people teaching my kids. I want someone who guides with Godly values and that pray for my kids. Who genuinely love and care for my child. Yes, it cost a bit but it's well worth the effort on my behalf.
